Bangkok, Thailand August 27, 2010 -- EnerGaia and Change Fusion Institute (CF) have agreed to work together in support of EnerGaia’s social enterprise goals in Thailand. Specifically, CF will utilize its in-house resources and extensive network to help EnerGaia with lender relationship development, market research and public relations for EnerGaia’s business of utilizing algae to recycle green house gas emissions and treat wastewater at industrial sources such as power plants, biomass facilities, breweries, cement factories and refineries. EnerGaia has provided CF with a detailed research plan that includes such topics as understanding current and potential future regulations for wastewater treatment at palm oil mills and other industrial facilities in Thailand; alternative wastewater treatment system costs in the Kingdom; and requirements for the use of EnerGaia’s algal products in support of the Thai shrimp and fish industry, including organic certification standards. In addition, CF will be helping EnerGaia to build relationships with Thai lending agencies for future project financing needs, and providing Thailand specific Public Relations and marketing strategies.
